Mural goby – Valenciennea muralis

The Mural Goby is a sand-sifting goby which keeps the sand clean an free of nuisances like Cyanobacteria. It reaches about 12 cm in size and is suitable for tanks of 360 liters or more. During acclimation it should be target fed meaty frozen feed such as Mysis. Valenciennea muralis can be kept alone or in pairs, though the latter requires some luck as there is no readily visible sexual dimorphism.
